Agnieszka Remmen is Managing Director of Symbolex GmbH (“Symbolex”). After completing her law studies, she was initially responsible for a watch and jewellery manufacturer for the company's brand portfolio as well as for international online and shopping TV distribution. She has been working as an Online Brand Protection Specialist since 2010 and leads the multi-lingual team of Symbolex due to her in-depth industry and IT expertise.
Symbolex specializes in locating attacks on brands and products on the Internet, identifying high risk seller profiles and the criminal networks behind them and securing all the evidence required by the Legal & Enforcement team to successfully act against brand and IPR infringers.
Symbolex understands the complex nature of e-commerce sales levels, virtual advertising channels and the important role of social media and apps. Agnieszka´s team, structures and screens the industry-relevant markets and platforms on which modern brand and product pirates prey. This analysis reveals clear and easy-to-understand brand risk evaluations for our customers. With this information Symbolex assists our clients to formulate an effective brand protection and anti-counterfeiting strategy.
Symbolex supports brand owners through flexible arrangements:
designing their internal Brand Protection Set-up or,
as an extension of our clients´ internal teams or,
on their behalf as their external brand protection team serving as a hub for monitoring, investigation and online enforcement or,

Agnieszka and her team have many years of experience, especially in the automotive, luxury and fashion industry as well as in the sporting goods and merchandising sector. Symbolex is also partnering with a leading manufacturer of complete bathroom solutions and kitchen fittings, water security systems and smart home technology products.
